In version 1.5.3, there are 4 new features:.
1 - CUPS module has been updated to CUPS 1.7.2.
2 - A new feature for MP3 printers is the ability to print MP3 encoded file names. MP3 printers will print all MP3 files by default, while previously, it only printed by default if the filename contained the following:.
3 - CUPS 1.7.2 (cups-1.7.2.tar.gz) has been added as an option to install.
4 - There are still many printer drivers available to install and use on OpenPrinting.

CUPS 1.5.3 Release Notes
1. Install CUPS 1.5.3
Cups 1.5.3 is a bugfix release for CUPS 1.5.2. The bug fixes in this release were important for Fedora and Debian distributions. In addition, Ubuntu's official CUPS packages were updated from version 1.6.1 to 1.6.2.
2. CUPS module
The CUPS module has been updated to CUPS 1.7.2. See the release notes for CUPS 1.7.2 for information about this version.
3. MP3 printing
A new feature for MP3 printers is the ability to print MP3 encoded file names. This feature is only available for all MP3 printers created since CUPS 1.5.1.
4. CUPS 1.7.2
There are a number of new features and bug fixes in CUPS 1.7.2. See the release notes for CUPS 1.7.2 for more information.
5. Configuration
If you have installed CUPS 1.5.2, you will be able to print using CUPS 1.5.3.
