Who am I? I am Raj. I have a background in computer science, deep familiarity with Perl, and years of experience in commercial software and systems development. I am a Perl-only developer, and I'm a regular contributor to the Perl community. I have experience with coding, testing, refactoring, and maintenance. However, when the chips are down I enjoy problem solving in business and data management, and using Perl to solve any kind of problem.
The current release of Pattern Magic 3 is a collection of general purpose patterns, many of them shown here for the first time, that can be used to solve a variety of problems.
In addition to software patterns, I am a regular contributor to several other Perl-related mailing lists, including the ActiveState Perl, CPAN Testers, Perl Mongers, Perl 5 Porters, PerlMonks, Perlideas, and Perl Training mailing lists, as well as the Perl FAQ.
Adventures in Software Engineering. I've taken an interest in software development, design, and architecture. You can check out my website at I don't currently have any product projects to speak of, but I hope to change that soon.
